How You Can Help Haiti

You’ve seen the devastation in Haiti after the earthquake that rocked the nation on January 12, 2010. Would you pray for this country, its people, and those who are on the ground helping there? Would you consider giving to the relief effort?

If you would like to give to the Haiti relief efforts, we recommend the Baptist Haiti Mission, an organization that has been on the ground for years, was itself harmed by the earthquake, and has its hands full caring for the injured, handing out needed supplies and doing all it can while partnering with other organizations. 100% of your donation will go directly to earthquake victims.

Grace Toronto Church will be holding a special offering in our services in the next few weeks. You can specify your funds to go to Haiti and they will be applied to Baptist Haiti Mission. You can also donate online through GTC or directly to BHM.

The Canadian government has promised to match any donations made by an individual to all eligible charitable organizations in support of Haiti relief effort. Any donations made through Grace will go towards supporting the Baptist Haiti Mission without any overhead costs applied and will be matched the government.
