Volunteer Opportunities
Our abilities are gifts from God, entrusted to us for a purpose; they are to be stewarded for his glory by serving others. Many of us come to Grace Toronto with experience and skills (music, sports, technical, computers, construction, art, organization, management, etc.) that can be used to build up the church and help others. Whether you are brand new around here or a veteran, new to Christianity or a mature believer, there is a place for you to volunteer. We want to help you find a good fit– a way you can volunteer that matches your gifting and fulfills you. Below you’ll find a list of our immediate opportunities for service, but check out the various ministries at Grace too– there may be opportunities that we’re not even thinking of yet.
Sunday operations
We always need volunteers here! Become an usher or help prepare snacks and coffee before and after the services. Be a part of the hospitality team that welcomes newcomers and provides a comfortable environment for our Sunday services. To join the Sunday Ops teams, email Evelyn to get connected to the morning service team and Janette for the evening service team.
children’s and nursery teams
Do you love kids and have a way with them? We need your help in children’s church, the toddler’s nursery, and in the infant’s nursery. Volunteer during the Sunday services; be an influence in a child’s life and give our parents the ability to enjoy an undistracted service. For the morning service, contact Elizabeth to volunteer in children’s church, Mari to volunteer with toddlers, or Carolyn to help with the infants. For the evening service, contact Priyanka to volunteer with the children’s ministry.
sound ministry
If you are interested in being involved in the worship ministry, and have an ear for operating sound during Sunday services, contact Adam. Even if you have no prior experience, we’d love to hear from you.
