For the third talk in our series on justice, Nana Abraham and Amanda Bellefeuille will speak on the topic of 'privilege,' as it relates to race and social issues. There is no cost to attend, but please patronize the venue. Drinks and food start at 6:30pm, and the talk starts around 7:20pm.

Speaker bios:

Nana Abraham actively mentors, coaches and counsels young women of all ages and cultural backgrounds. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from York University and has served as a Child and Youth worker at The Scott Mission for over twelve years. Nana has a a passion for literacy, education and a desire to see young women use their gifts wherever they are called.

Amanda is an innovative community builder who thrives on creating inclusive spaces and sparking meaningful conversations. She has spent a lot of time working, living and laughing with youth. She is a recent graduate of a Masters of Peace and Conflict Studies, and is currently working at Pathways to Education.
