When and where are your services?
Identical services are held on Sundays at 10:30am and 5pm and are located at 41 Britain Street. More info.
How can I get more involved at Grace?
We’d love to see you get plugged in here. For most people, the first step into the community beyond the Sunday service is through our Grace Gatherings (small groups). Here is where you get to know people more deeply and often where you hear about various opportunities within the Grace community. You can also check out some of the volunteer opportunities that are available to find out where you can fit in to serve.
How can I get to know people at Grace?
Can we promote our Grace Gatherings any more?! But seriously, join a small group here and you’ll feel much more connected. Other than that, often people around here met their friends as they served alongside one another in some capacity or learned together in one of the courses offered by the Grace Centre.
How do I get into a small group?
Check out the various times and locations, then email our Grace Gatherings Coordinator with which group you’d like to join and we’ll connect you.
How do I become a member?
Once you’ve decided Grace is the place for you (or even if you are still in the process of deciding), you need to take a membership class. Membership classes are one day workshops held twice per year, usually in October and May. Once you have gone through the class, we ask you to fill out a simple application after which we’ll contact you if we need to meet with you to clarify anything. Then in the next service we will do a membership induction, and will ask you to verbally affirm your commitment to the church. Click here to visit our membership page for more information.
I want to see a counselor. Who would you recommend?
We refer people to a trusted, trained, gospel-centred counselor named Caroline Yik. She has graciously given us reduced rates of $80 ($60 for students). Arrangements can be made to meet at Grace or at an office in North York. Please email Caroline directly and mention you were referred by Grace Toronto.
Can I take communion?
We celebrate communion twice a month at Grace as a demonstration and reminder of the perfect life and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ for us. If you have personally put your faith in Jesus Christ, we welcome you at the communion table. If you are still searching or wondering if Christianity is for you, we ask that you simply observe this tradition without participating.
