Give

Giving sacrificially and cheerfully is an integral part of our worship. As believers, our goal is to be good stewards of that which God has entrusted to us. We call our members to give sacrificially and cheerfully to God– a vertical transaction rather than horizontal. But we do not talk percentage. Instead, we talk of gladly sacrificing for the sake of the gospel, knowing how gladly Jesus Christ sacrificed for our sake and knowing that all we have belongs to him.

We thank those who have helped meet the needs of Grace Toronto Church, the Grace Project, and the needs of the city. We pray and endeavor that we will be faithful stewards of what has been given to us, joining with you in the joy of giving sacrificially.

There are several ways to give to Grace Toronto:

Online Credit Card Giving

  • To give online, you need to fill out all the fields to do a credit card transaction.
  • Under Invoice/Order Number, you can type in “General Donations”.
  • If you are supporting a Grace Toronto staff member, you can type in their name in the Invoice/Order Number field.

Pre-Authorized Monthly Giving

  • Download the giving form (link below)
  • Fill out the form and send it to Grace to donate monthly by credit card or electronic fund transfer (EFT).
  • If you wish to give via electronic fund transfer (EFT), please attach a void cheque.

Cheques

  • If you are giving by cheque, you do not need an offering envelope.
  • Please make all cheques payable to “Grace Toronto Church” and indicate the designation for your gift on the memo line.
  • If the memo line is left blank, it will be considered undesignated and will go towards general donations.
  • If it is your first time giving by cheque, please make sure your contact information on the cheque is correct as that is how we enter and sort donations (not by offering numbers).

Cash

  • Please ask for an offering envelope from the ushers.
  • If it is your first-time giving, please write your full name and contact information on the envelope so we can enter it into the database.  We do not issue offering numbers.
  • Any subsequent giving is entered and filtered by name in the database.

Tax Receipts

Tax receipts are usually given out during Sunday Service or mailed out by February of the following year.

In the gospel, we recognize everything we have is a gift from God. It is this that motivates us to give with generous hearts.
