Grace Centre for the Arts

The Grace Centre for the Arts exists to encourage artists to see themselves as made in the image of a creative God, and to see their work as an expression of God’s creativity, while challenging them to create work that deeply impacts the culture.

The Grace Centre for the Arts offers programs that:

  • train and equip artists to express their faith through their work (Symposium on the Arts),
  • connect artists through community fellowship events that encourage, challenge and support artists to live out their faith lives and work (Perspectives Series), and
  • celebrate artists and their work through events that allow for dialogue with the arts community on questions of life and faith (Mezzanine).

If you are an artist or are interested in the arts and want to know how you can get involved in the Grace Centre for the Arts, please contact us.

Natural Revision, A new installation work that explores the limits of our ability to suspend our disbelief.  The work recreates an immersive Algonquinesque landscape which is made up of a mixture of materials that span high quality synthetics to cardboard boxes merely taped together.  The project is animated by eight orchestrated cuckoo birds, an inflating and deflating deer, waterfall, among other things.
