Gateway

Gateway is a shelter and drop-in centre for adults in the downtown core of Toronto. It is a continuation of a small drop-in ministry of the Salvation Army, begun in 1980.  We are a gateway to many different goals such as community, belonging, dignity, respect, recovery, reconciliation, friendship, and God. We are a movement that believes that, through faith in God, we can change the world one person at a time. We do not believe that there is anyone for whom there is no hope.

Here’s how the Grace community can get involved at Gateway:

  • Help out in our clothing room.
  • Serve meals on weekdays or weekends.
  • Donate or fundraise for our ministry.
