“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.  I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. “ Ephesians 1:17-19a

At Grace Toronto, we believe that only God can change our lives and the city we love. Knowing that only God has the power to give us wisdom and revelation, the Grace Toronto Prayer Ministry provides opportunities for congregants to seek God through prayer and to grow in their understanding of prayer. We desire that prayer be practiced and prioritized so that Christ would be glorified and deeper communion is experienced with Him and with one another.

Corporate Prayer

  • Good Friday Afternoon Prayer: 3-5 pm
  • Prayer and Praise – First Sunday of Advent: 7 – 8:30 pm
  • Impromptu Prayer Gatherings – church leadership may call a prayer gathering for specific need or season of life in the church

After each Sunday service, a prayer team is available to minister and pray for anyone who desires prayer. Relying on the Holy Spirit, the prayer team seeks to minister the gospel, bring healing, restoration, and encouragement as they pray for those who come forward.  All requests/interactions are totally confidential.

To request prayer by email, please contact the prayer team at The team will pray for a period of two weeks for a request. After the two-week period, our prayer liaison will follow-up to inquire regarding further prayer needs.
