This Christmas season, Grace Centre for Mercy & Justice affiliates have needs that you can help fulfill! Please take a look at our list below and connect with Rosemarie@gracetoronto.ca to coordinate your volunteer efforts.

Adam House

Year round need: Welcome Hygiene Kits needed for residents as they come to Adam House. Each Kit should include the following items:

For women

-body wash and poof
-2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner
-unscented lotion
-toothpaste and toothbrush
-deodorant/antiperspirant
-facecloth and bath towel
-pair of warm socks or package of sport socks
-toque and gloves
-package of maxi pads
-nail clipper and emery board

 Tie with pink or red ribbon forwomen.

For men

-body wash and poof
-2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner
-unscented lotion
-toothpaste and toothbrush
-deodorant/antiperspirant
-facecloth and bath towel
-pair of warm socks or package of sport socks
-toque and gloves
-shaving cream and razor
-nail clipper and emery board

Please place items in a reusable shopping bag.
Tie with blue or green ribbon for men.

Light Patrol
Year round need: new socks and underwear donations (men & women) throughout the year for the street-involved youth

  • Donate money to the “Operation Good Thing” to purchase sleeping bags, hoodies, winter gear.

  • Prepare part of or a whole Christmas meal for December 20 to be shared with street-involved youth coming to the RV downtown

Pregnancy Care Centre

120 gift bags needed for families that the PCC serves, see list below for items in each (due Wed. Nov 26th, dropped off at 383 Jarvis St.):

  • Package of diapers (either newborn, size 1, 2, or 3)

  • Walmart or grocery gift card of $25

  • Toiletry items for moms (soap/ shampoo)

  • Christian literature (booklet for mom or children)

  • Greeting card from someone who is praying for them and offers word of encouragement 

Salvation 614 - Squads

  • Volunteers for the Christmas toy shop, Saturday, December 22 from 9-5pm  

  • Family dinner, volunteers needed to serve food: Wednesdays, December 5, 12, 19.

  • Baking or donations for breakfast with Santa, December 24th.

Toronto City Mission

  • 75 candy packages for kids for Thurs. Dec. 20th Christmas celebration (due Dec. 16th, dropped off at 383 Jarvis St.)

    • 10 candies per package wrapped in festive cellophane (nut-free)
