Junior Youth (Gr 6-10)

Our vision is to see a new generation of youth rising in the city who know God and make him known, for the rest of their lives.

We're a group of youth leaders and youth grades 6-10! We play games, eat food, sometimes go on outings together, and talk about important things from a Christian perspective. Youth of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome!

Meetings take place at two families' homes in North York
Saturdays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month
Sept through June (with breaks for Christmas and long weekends)

  • On the 2nd Saturday, we meet at the Stringer Residence
  • On the 4th Saturday, we meet at the Chee Residence

Core Values & Beliefs

We believe that youth need the Gospel and that the Gospel changes everything.

We believe that parental involvement and integrated interactions with various members of the church are crucial to the spiritual vitality of youth.

We believe that youth ministry is a ministry of discipleship. Our prayer is to aid in the discipleship of articulate students who know the gospel, and who will make God’s love known in the city.

We believe that youth are a gift to the church. We desire for the youth group to be a place of fellowship, to engage God and others. We aim to provide a place that is safe and secure for questions and discovering oneself in the faith.
