Senior Youth (Gr 10-12)
Our vision is to see a new generation of youth rising in the city who know God and make him known, for the rest of their lives.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
We're a small group of youth leaders and mature high school students (Gr 10-12). We play games, eat food, sometimes go on outings together, and talk about important things from a Christian perspective. Youth of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome!
The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. Please note that this meetings are on hiatus during the summer months.
This summer we'll be running an 8-week Youth Alpha course for Sr Youth (Gr 9-12) to engage youth in our church and community with the gospel. This series will run Friday evenings, 6-9 pm weekly, breaking for long weekends (June 14, 21; July 5, 12, 19, 26; Aug 9, 16).
Core Values & Beliefs
We believe that youth need the Gospel and that the Gospel changes everything.
We believe that parental involvement and integrated interactions with various members of the church are crucial to the spiritual vitality of youth.
We believe that youth ministry is a ministry of discipleship. Our prayer is to aid in the discipleship of articulate students who know the gospel, and who will make God’s love known in the city.
We believe that youth are a gift to the church. We desire for the youth group to be a place of fellowship, to engage God and others. We aim to provide a place that is safe and secure for questions and discovering oneself in the faith.
