Fall is here, and that means a new ministry season is beginning at Grace Toronto Church!

Whether you’ve been part of Grace for years, joined us over the summer, or are visiting for the very first time, fall is a great time to take the next step toward deeper community. There are plenty of ways to meet people, grow in your faith, serve others, and find your place in the life of our church.

Here’s everything you need to know about getting connected at Grace this fall.

Start with Sunday

The easiest way to get connected is to start by joining us on a Sunday.

Grace Toronto meets every Sunday at 9:15 AM and 11:15 AM at 383 Jarvis St. in downtown Toronto. Services include worship, corporate prayer, and teaching from God's Word. If you’re unable to join us in person, the 9:15 AM service is also livestreamed online.

And if you’re new, don’t feel like you have to figure everything out on your own.

Our Connections Team is there to help you get oriented, answer questions, introduce you to people, and help you find ways to get involved. Look for the yellow Welcome Desk in the main lobby when you arrive.

Join a Grace Gathering

If your goal this fall is to move beyond simply attending church and begin building deeper friendships, a Grace Gathering is one of the best places to start.

Grace Gatherings are small groups that meet regularly in different locations around the city. They are designed to help people Explore, Experience, and Express the Gospel together while developing meaningful relationships within the church.

There are several types of Grace Gatherings, including:

  • Discipleship Groups: Designed for Christians who want to grow spiritually and relationally together.
  • Connect Groups: A lower-commitment opportunity for those exploring or reconnecting with the Christian faith.
  • Life Groups: Groups built around shared life stages and demographics, including groups for young adults, parents, men, women, and youth.

Fall Grace Gathering registration

Fall 2026 Grace Gathering registration is open from August 16 to September 20, with the fall semester beginning September 27.

If you’ve been thinking about joining a small group, now is the time to register. Discipleship Groups in particular can fill up quickly, so don’t wait until the semester has already started.

Ready to join? Check out the Grace Gatherings registration and information.

New to Grace? Come to the Newcomers Brunch

If you’re newer to Grace Toronto, you don’t have to know where you fit before you show up.

The Newcomers Brunch on September 20 is specifically designed to help people get connected. It’s an opportunity to meet pastors and lay leaders, learn more about Grace, ask questions, and meet other people who are also getting settled into the church.

The brunch takes place in St. Andrew’s Hall after either Sunday service.

Think of it as a simple first step: come with your questions, bring your appetite, and meet some people.

Find a Ministry That Fits Your Life

Grace Toronto has ministries designed for different stages of life and different interests. The events calendar is the best place to see what’s happening and find something that fits your schedule.

Young Adults

For young adults ages 18–25, the Young Adults ministry provides opportunities to build friendships and grow together.

The fall season is kicking off with events like Young Adults Speed Friending, an evening designed to help people find their community through fun, food, and conversation.

If you’re new to the city, starting school, beginning a new job, or simply looking for Christian community, this is a great place to start.

Men's Ministry

The GT Men’s ministry is also launching into the fall season.

The GT Men Fall Social takes place September 15 and will include food, games, and fellowship. It’s an easy, low-pressure way to meet other men at Grace and get connected for the year ahead.

Throughout the year, Men's Ministry provides opportunities for men to build friendships and encourage one another in following Jesus.

Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry has a full fall schedule as well.

Starting September 22, the Women's Bible Study will meet every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in St. Andrew’s Hall to study the book of Hebrews. The study will explore the supremacy of Christ, His role as our great High Priest, and what it means to persevere in faith.

There are also special events throughout the year, so be sure to keep an eye on the events calendar.

Families, Kids & Youth

For families, Grace’s Family Ministry exists to come alongside parents as they seek to disciple their children and grow together in wisdom and faith.

Grace also has dedicated ministries for GT Kids and GT Youth, making it possible for children and students to grow in their understanding of the Gospel while developing friendships within the church community.

If you’re coming on a Sunday with kids, GT Kids is available during the 9:15 AM service.

Explore Christianity with Alpha

Maybe you’re not sure what you believe about Christianity. Maybe you have questions about God, Jesus, faith, or the meaning of life.

You’re welcome at Grace, wherever you’re starting from.

This fall, Grace is hosting Alpha, beginning September 30 at 7:00 PM in St. Andrew’s Hall. Alpha is an opportunity to explore questions about Christianity in a welcoming environment.

Serve at Grace

Getting connected isn’t only about finding a group to attend. It’s also about finding ways to serve.

Our volunteers are the beating heart of our community, and there are opportunities to use your gifts to serve God and the church family.

Serving can be one of the best ways to meet people because you’re working alongside others toward a shared purpose.

Whether you’re helping on a Sunday, serving with kids, welcoming newcomers, supporting an event, or using another skill, there's a place for you.

Keep an Eye on the Events Calendar

With so much happening throughout the fall, you don’t need to memorize every date.

The Grace Toronto Events Calendar is the best place to stay up to date. You can filter events by ministry, including Family Ministry, Grace Gatherings, GT Kids, GT Youth, Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Young Adults, Missions, and Outreach.

You’ll find everything from Bible studies and small groups to social events, conferences, special gatherings, and opportunities to serve.
