Our Membership Process

Membership at Grace Toronto Church means that you are committing to our family of believers as you participate in the life, ministry, and government of our church. There is a solemn promise to care for one another physically, emotionally, and spiritually as you pray for and encourage community members to grow toward the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

The membership process begins with a membership class. Whether you have decided to make Grace Toronto your church or are still in the process of deciding, you are welcome to take the class. Membership classes are one day workshops held twice per year, usually in the fall and the spring. Once you have gone through the class, the typical membership process involves a simple application and interview. Then, during the next member induction service, prospective members verbally affirm their commitment to the church and are then welcomed into membership.
