Upcoming Events
This summer is the perfect time to get connected at Grace Toronto Church. Whether you’re brand new to church or returning to faith, we've got plenty of ways to build friendships, grow spiritually, and find your place.
Why Summer Is the Best Time to Get Connected
Summer has a unique rhythm. Schedules slow down, people are more open to meeting others, and community often feels more accessible. At Grace Toronto, the summer season is intentionally designed to help people connect in low-pressure and meaningful ways.
From Sunday lunches to small groups and serving opportunities, there are multiple pathways to move from simply attending church to truly belonging.
Join a Summer Connect Group
One of the easiest ways to meet people at Grace Toronto this summer is through the church’s Summer Connect Groups. These groups are designed especially for people exploring Christianity, reconnecting with faith, or looking for deeper community.
This summer’s groups focus on the theme of prayer and meet after the second Sunday service in St. Andrew’s Hall. Gatherings include:
- A short topical study
- Group discussion
- Prayer
- Time to fellowship over food or snacks
The atmosphere is intentionally welcoming and conversational, making it ideal for newcomers or anyone hoping to meet others in a similar season of life. Registration for Summer Connect Groups runs throughout May, with groups beginning in June.
Visit the Connections Booth
On Sundays, the Connections Team can be found at the bright yellow booth in the main lobby. The team helps newcomers get acquainted, answer questions, and find ministries or groups that fit their stage of life.
Find a Ministry or Life Group
Beyond summer groups, Grace Toronto offers ministries and life groups for different demographics and life stages, including:
- Young adults
- Women’s ministry
- Men’s ministry
- Moms’ groups
- Youth ministry
- Graduate fellowship groups
These groups help people connect around shared experiences while growing together in faith.
Serve and Build Community
One of the fastest ways to feel connected in any church is to serve. Grace Toronto emphasizes that volunteers are “the beating heart” of the church community.
Serving opportunities allow people to use their gifts while building relationships side-by-side with others. Whether helping on Sundays, welcoming newcomers, or supporting ministry events, serving often turns acquaintances into close community.
